Utica Boilermaker race photos
The Boilermaker is a great 15k race with 13,000 runners and about that many spectators, it's like a full-city block party which finishes at the FX Matt Brewing Co. (brewers of fine beer)for further festivity.
Each mile along the course has official waterstops, music and cheering onlookers. This is what it looks like from the vantage point of the 1 mile waterstop.
A word of explanation - the waterstop was under-manned when 30 volunteers in a bus got lost in the city and I took my place along with some wonderful last minute recruits to hand water to the runners as I was taking pictures.

Good bye
Some Jerk has managed to spam this site out, redirecting every visitor to their site. They have also made it impossible to stop it. After over an hour of trying to report it to Google and Blogspot.com, I give up, the only solution I can think of is to get rid of this blog.
Sorry, but it'll be gone in a few days - I'll wait until I can be reasonably sure that all of you who are awesome enough to have subscribed get this message.
